Their student group, EGADS, more or less disbanded and people complained you couldn't learn C++ at UT for a while, which is just not any good for the local industry. I've been going to Bob's guest lecture series at Austin Community College off and on for years and took a course in his program. ACC has been in touch with the industry and involved for a significant amount of time, and should be very proud of that fact. Don't be surprised if you see us over there sooner or later doing a story. I'm simply referring to the current UT momentum, which is also a great thing. We really haven't covered much on the videogame industry in the past. Can't edit footage we don't have. I agree. Uncle Warren just brought in people from farther out, which isn't a bad thing. Not accusing you of anything. I am kind of glad though, as it seems like the topic is "happening" again with Warren's UT class getting some buzz and media covering the Archive project more (like here http://marketplace.publicradio.org/display/web/2007/11/02/video_game_archive/ and there http://cheap360.com.au/news/?cat=1239 for example) We'll probably post some more footage from the party if we get enough youtube interest on the story.
